Red Herring (GCW7PN) Adel

I used to work around this area and i've driven past this train so many times before thinking how odd it is just in the middle of nowhere like this. The last time I drove past it I thought it would be a good location for a cache and guess what ... someone had beaten me to it!

I didn't really understand the clue, but the cache was easy enough to find. Didn't have any swaps so just signed the book and left my calling card. This one is a nice quick and easy one you can do and there are actually a few other caches close by too.

This is probably one of my favourite caches in terms of the find itself. Very cleverly hidden, I don't know how The Barramundi team found this spot but it's a great cache. The GPS coordinates will take you to somewhere that is not the prettiest place you've ever been but I know that as soon as I got there, I got excited because I knew were I would have to start looking for the cache.

I found the cache pretty easily, it's not a hard find, but it's still a good one. I'd reccomend this one for new cachers because it's a really good way for them to get they're hands dirty and get them poking around places and in a hunting mood. The cache itself too is a good one with heaps of swaps and pens.

Thanks heaps to The Barramundi's for this one!

Just out of the city, this cache is not exactly in the most charming of areas and the cache was actually difficult to find due to all the other junk around. The junk made the find harder, but at the same time, it would make a great cache in, trash out event. I did like the "Street Art" though:

The cache itself is quite unique and made me regret not bringing any swaps because I wanted some of the toys hehe. One thing that did irk me was that there was no pen or pencil in this one. I always bring my own anyway, but still, there's room for a pen here. If I go past again, i might drop a spare pencil in.

Superchick (GC1JGTF) Adel

I haven't done a lot of caching lately because the Adelaide weather has been scorching! But, I was happy to get an early hour off work and decided to go find me a cache on the way home. I didn't get the reference at first for this one. Because it's in a pretty ordinary location.

I didn't *need* the clue but as well, I wasn't in the mood for a huge hunt so I took a sneeky peek and it was pretty easy to find. The only thing I had to worry about was muggles. I hope this house is cacher friendly because I don't know if i'd like people peering around my front yard.

This was a cute little cache and Freddo's cottoned onto my thoughts that most caches should be able to have a pencil in them. I wrote in the log and left my calling card. I left the scene still confused about the "Superchick" title of the cache, but as I was uploading the photos to the blog, i figured it out. I'll leave it to you to get it...
