Skippy (GA1421) - Adel

I was very excited at the opportunity to be a FTF. I tracked this cache down and head out on an afternoon off of work. I had just found another cache at the Paradise Interchange and so I didn't have far to go. I was so glad that I found a cache on the linear park trail because it really is a nice track.

At first I actually found another cache!!! It was part of Zytheran's Cleudo multi cache. I thought it was pretty funny that I accidentally found a cache. I wonder if the owners of this cache know it's so close to the Cleudo one.

After honing in on where I was supposed to be looking and considering the clue, it wasn't long before I found the cache. I probably would think about waterproofing it because those containers aren't exactly sturdy as anything.

I was estatic that I was in fact FTF. I didn't have any swaps and so I didn't feel right taking anything. Anyway, thanks for the find guys!

12 o'clock on the plains of hell (GCT5JC) Adel

This is another one close to my work. It's at the Elizabeth shopping center. I'd never been to the shopping center because I live on the other side of the city. It's not bad actually, pretty big and lots of nice shops. I was glad to finally find a cache at a supermarket because i'd not found one at any of my local ones.

As you can see, there's not a huge deal here, but I actually like caches like this as well because it just proves that they could be anywhere. Out of habit now, if I go to a notable landmark, i'll assume there is a cache there hehehe. But, this one shows you that there can be caches where you least expect.

Flatpack ( GCYF4Q) Adel

One night I was early picking my parents up from the Airport so I thought i'd find some caches nearby. As soon as I read the title for this one, I knew where it was. I'm actually really glad I went because the stormy weather and time of night was perfect for this kind of eerie picture, If I don't say so myself, it's not a bad shot!

This one is a nice easy find, but i'd say to go after business hours or the cache might not last. If you do go during business hours, just be careful. The cache has heaps of cool goodies in there. I left a marble and took a foot shaped keyring.

Southbank (GCNWD8) Melb

This is another cache that I actually found a while ago but lost the pictures for. I love Melbourne's Southbank walk and all the highly priced restaurants that you walk past. Also, there's usually a bit of street performing going along to. I describe it as Rundle Mall with a lake next to it.

This cache is really cool and you have to go under the bridge to get it. I was feeling game to bring my phone along on this one because I could have easily fell in! You have to be a bit careful of muggles on this one too because it's usually got a fairly high level of foot traffic, but its subtle enough to just sneak away.

The cache is easy enough to find with lots of goodies inside. I was glad to share this cahce with a couple of friends and we all signed the logbook. This is is pretty easy to find so if you are ever strolling down the yarra and want to con some people into geocaching, this is a good one!
